Cooking Tips:how to bake a cake in microwave convection oven

hi,

i try baking a cake in microwave oven with convection but the cake do not get brown from sides and its base. Is it due to the container i use. I use a borosil round baking dish.

I have the same problem of baking cake in microwave oven with convection mode. Mine turns soggy always & not fluffy at all....though i use borosil round base & use electric beater for the batter....i really dont know what the problem is...i use godrej microwave convectino oven.....help me....thanks in advance

I am also facing the same problem like yours. Probably its because of the Godrej M/w? My neighbour downstairs has LG M/w and she´ s able to bake the cake in her M/w very well as if she´ s baked in OTG.

Hi,
I just baked a cake in my m/wave and its turned out pretty well.

I baked it at 180 degrees for 50 minutes.

if you bake a cake in convection on 180 for 35-40 minutes,it will turn brown,if not then you can grill for 2-3 minutes.
