Make Your Own Rules of the House
Call all the family members in a place during a convenient time, may be at dinner and announce in front of everyone the time when your work as parent ends every day at night. After that in no circumstances whatsoever you are going to do any
household chores. That time should be used for your rest. If your kids listen to you then it is well and good, but if they do not, let them do their work themselves and face the consequences. After some days you will find, everything has fallen into place, and your kids are ready for bed well before the scheduled time.
Do Not Allow Her Beside You
This is strange but to bring your child back to the right track, you need to do this. To make your kids complete their assignments, you can try this strange attitude towards them. Just ask them to do their homework or go away from your side until they do not sit and complete their homework. For the first couple of days they will get off your sight to save themselves from doing homework, but with the passage of time you will notice that they are actually completing their homework to be by your side. After all they are your kids and they love you. They cannot stay for longer, not talking to you. But make sure that you help them with homework when they need your help.
Do Not Allow Kid to Argue Inside the House
When your
kids are arguing over something and creating a mess in the house, calmly ask them to leave the house and go outside and shout as much as they want. They will definitely not do this to embarrass themselves, so ultimately they will stop fighting and will calm down in a few minutes. It is better to stop fighting than to invite embarrassment.
Do Not Pamper
This is one of the
biggest mistakes that parents often do. Pamper your child so much that it goes out of their hands sometimes later, which is not good. Allow your kid to value things in life. If for example in the dinner table she gets the smallest bowl of dessert by mistake and starts complaining; do not alter her bowl with yours. Let her understand everyone deserves the best things in life sometimes or later. If you continue giving her the best things in life always and are
overprotective she will forget to value the petty things in life and will start to belittle them. Teach her to adjust with all situations whatsoever.
