 Frequently Asked Questions

Q: I am a working mother and cannot give enough time to my child. Initially, we were in a joint family, where my child was accompanied by his cousins. So he never felt lonely. But, now since the time we have seperated, he is become very wild and has also become a compulsive liar. Sometimes when we fight in front of him, he starts throwing things around. He even hates to be with his friends.

Swapna (Banglore, India)

A: Your son seems to be disturbed and feels insecured due to the family seperation, as he has also lost the company of his cousins. May be if one of the parents is with him all the time, then he will settle down. Also, seeing a psychologist will help. NEVER fight with each other in the presence of your child.
