My daughter is 3 year and 8 month old. She is now going to school. Before going to school she does not learn or listen our instructions and can not follow them but when she joined in the school her understanding is developed and she is interested to learn the different matter. It is now possible through the open discussion. I always suggest her what to do and what not to do. She takes interest in my orders and always obeys them.

for all those people who are residing in calcutta (india), there are sevaral schools in calcutta who have specially trained teachers(especially in the kindergarten classes),who can take care of your children (La Martiniere for Girls being one of them), or you can also try to contact the Spastic Society of India, who can help you to find schools equipped to handle children with personality disorders and help them settle down to normal scool life. will try to gather more information in the future

My daughter is 16 months now. She becomes very adament on many occassions and insist on things whatever she wants. We are concerned whether to listen her demands as otherwise it may affect her development or just to ingore in such occassions. Can some one please guide.

My son is 6 years old. He does not listen to anything I say. He can be verbally abusive to me. He tells me he hates me if I tell him NO. He will throw screaming and cring fits that last so long he becomes hoarse. I am becoming emotionally detached from him and it is scaring me because I love him very much. I just cannot live like this anymore, I believe I am depressed becuse of his behavior. I have tried many things and I am in desperate need of some advice.

My son is completing 4th year in this march. what his problem is , he screams, he is harsh and arrogant, But sometimes he is very nice, and he listens to what we say, but sometimes he is opposite of all this. He always likes to play,he is very interested in playing that in reading and learning something. i think he reads well and got good memory power, but sometimes even though he knows everything he acts like he doesn't know and he always wants to go outside and play with his friend. He dont listen what we say, when he is concentrating on his playing, and also he gets excited very soon amd its noticed by the way he reacts to the things. please suggest us how to cope up with him. My son siddharth is three years by this march but he is unable to speak,he is recognising all the things and speaking A to H,and small rhymes when I teach him but soon afterr some time he is forgetting everthing in his school because of speech problem he is been detained in the nursery only because he is not able to grasp any thing,only few words like teacher,finished and chichi, he is speaking,other words he knows like father,mother,papa and all but he is not able to recollect instantly. please suggest me in this matter. his physical and mental development is goo. he is very naughty,and over active, only problem is speech defeciet. suggest me.
