Veggie Omelet
Ingredients- Butter
- Onion finely chopped

MethodMelt 1 tablespoon of butter and put onion and vegetables to it. Cook for 4 – 5 minutes until the vegetables are tender. Keep them in a bowl and sprinkle salt to it.
In the meantime, beat eggs with milk and add salt and pepper to it. Grate cheese and keep aside.
Now melt the remaining butter in the pan add the egg mixture and cook for 2 minutes. Make sure your omelet is cooked properly. Once done, add the vegetable mixture and spread the grated cheese over it. Keep the omelet on the heat until you get the right consistency of the melted cheese on your omelet.

Broken Wheat Upma
Ingredients- Broken wheat
- Oil
- Vegetables like cabbage, peas, capsicum
MethodPrecook the broken wheat and drain the water. Heat oil in a pan and add onion and vegetables – finely chopped – to it and when they are partially cooked, add the precooked broken wheat and 1/4 cup of water to it. Pressure cook for 5 minutes on low flame and garnish with finely chopped coriander leaves.
Cabbage and Spinach Parantha
Ingredients- Whole wheat flour
- Bengal gram flour
- Grated cabbage, spinach
- Green chilies – chopped
- Onion – chopped
- Grated cottage cheese
- Salt
MethodAdd everything in the wheat flour and knead soft dough. Make parathas taking small dough and cook them on pan using a little bit of ghee or oil. Serve hot with tomato ketchup or chutney.
