Tips to Apply Lipstick Perfectly
- Choose the right colour of your lipstick. It is better to select the colour that complements your skin tone and a little darker shade will help you do that. Choose matte finish for a day make up and satin and gloss finish for the evening make up.
- Apply other make up first because lipstick is the last thing to apply. After finishing your entire make ups, you can put on the lipstick and the lip liner.
- You can dab a little of petroleum jelly or any lip balm so that your lips get some moisture prior to applying lipstick.
- Choose a lip liner that has a bit darker shade than the lipstick and apply through the outline of your lips.
- Now you can apply the lipstick either with the help of a strong lipstick brush or with the tube itself. Make sure you coat the lips with the lipstick evenly and pay attention so that they do not ever touch outside of the lips and the edges.
- Blot the lips with the tissue or blotting paper so that if there is any extra lipstick, it will get wiped away giving the lips a perfect finish.
How to Choose and Apply the Right Lipstick that Lasts
- When you are choosing the colour of the lipstick, you should first decide whether you want stress on your lips more or not. There are times when eye make up is done with the intention of catching attention through the eyes. So, if you are paying more attention to highlight any other part of your face, keep the colour of the lipstick lighter.
- If your lips are plump up naturally, apply the lip liner to just outline your lips. You can even leave your lips naturally by applying a little bit of gloss to the lips.
- Applying liner before lipstick will not only give it a perfect look, it will also help the lipstick last longer.
- When using light lipstick, choose the liner with just a bit darker shade and do not go for very dark ones.
- When using a glass to drink water or any other drink, lick your lips so that your lipstick does not get wiped or discolored.
