Due Date Club January 2004:Bangalore hospitals - husband in labour room?
2003-09-08

Hi,

My husband and are currently in the US and are planning on having our baby back in India. Since we are from Bangalore, I would like to know if there are hospitals in Bangalore which allow husbands to be present during the delivery. If any of you know of any such hospitals in Bangalore, please respond.

Thanks,
Venita.

Thanks Bi, for the information on the Bangalore clinic details - it really helps a lot. I am still in the process of deciding as I'm yet to confirm whether I'd like to go with a doc closer to where I'll be based - someone in the Koramangala area, perhaps. It's still good to know that there are such places in Bangalore.

Venita.

Hi Lucky,

Thanks for offering to find out about Bangalore hospitals. I have just completed 20 weeks and things have been fine so far. Have my ultrasound in a couple of days time so that's when we'll try guessing whether the baby's a boy or a girl. How far are you into your pregnancy?

Kidney
Hello:
My 20 week ultrasound also showed an enlarged kidney. The good news is that since it is only one side, chances are that he will \";grow out of it\"; and if there's a problem it will resolve itself. I would suggest going back in 4 weeks from when you had the first to see if the kidney is of normal proportion. I went back for the next one, and the ultrasoun... - CNoel [View Message]

just an advice
Hey Kavita,

I'd say you get the ultrasound done so you will be able to see what is going on. Vaginal ultrasound is a good idea too.

Take care,
