Hi newmoms,

I am sorry but I will come to the point immediately. I had my second daughter on 19 june. I have a two year old son previously. Her weight at that time was 2.3 kgs. I was quite determined to do breastfeeding this time (as I was not very successful the first time, ie milk never came properly and terrible back problem, although I managed to give my first child my expressed milk thrice a day for 13 months, with second baby I want to do directly, everybody says if you believe in yourself you can do it) now my problem is I think the latch is correct and my milk supply is also ok, but she is still sucking almost constantly 24 hrs. I am not sure if she is getting enough or not. Her weight increase is also below average, I want to correct her feeding pattern but it is not happening. Sometimes she sucks good sometimes feeble, I try improve her feeble sucking but don’t understand what is happening down there, whether my milk is coming or not or if she is getting enough? I am tired and sore sitting the whole day and night and at my wits end what to do with my two small kids. At night if I try feeding lying down, she keeps vomiting the milk after all the exertion on her part. Right now my daughter is sleeping so I am desperately seeking some advice.
