Normal Delivery:Chances for Normal Delivery after C-Section
2004-12-13
Name: Hema Hai,

I had delivered by emergency C-section almost 2 years ago, due to fetal distress. I am 4 months pregnant now & I would like to know, what is the chance of a normal delivery. Thye say trying for a normal delivery could be risky. Is that so???

Dear Hema,
If your first C-section was due to fetal distress and not due to CPD (Cephalo Pelvic Disproportionate) then likely you will have equal chances to deliver this baby vaginally as much any pregnant woment. Provided your Dr. is the same (who performed your C-section) and at the time of delivery your first child is nearly a 3 year old.

Good luck
Archie

Yes, her name is Dr. Rinku Sengupta - you can look for her reviews and she is amazing. Sitaram Bhartia has one of the highest normal delivery rates of 88% in Delhi and among the very few hospitals who disclose their normal delivery Vs c-section rates.... - Ayesha [View Message]

Kalyani Hospital has had good records. Although personal opinions differ from person to person. It is quite affordable as well. Overall I would give it a good rating based on infrastructure and average cost in treatment. ... - Kalyani [View Message]

Vijaya was good but in recent times things have become bad. Kalyani is still better compared to Vijaya Hospital. The latter has been known for its greed and ill-treatment.... - Hausil [View Message]

There are many other such as Shri Ramchandra Medical Center, Cloudnine Hospital, Velachery KS Hospital, Motherhood Hospital. If you are the one who can afford good money then first option is quite better. Better safe than sorry. ... - Urmila [View Message]

The options you mentioned are good but lot better hospitals are also available now. You can google them where you can get complete details along with the facilities provided and the cost estimation. Thanks and hope this helps you.... - Devi sevak [View Message]

I had a bad experience in Kalyani Hospital. I didn’t opt for Vijaya as I got bad reviews about it. But in today’s world it’s all about the money. The more you spend, the better facilities you get. i wish this helps you.... - Mohini [View Message]
