Due Date Club June 2008:last month blues

Hello there!

I m in my 9th month and the pregnancy related discomforts just seem to have multiplied!

Suffering severe backaches and swollen hands and feet. Even my faces looks bloated in the mornings after I wake up.

Last night the Braxton Hicks were so painful,I thought labour had begun! I m tired and cranky all day.

Today was one of the worst days ever! Could not function at all. The fatigue was so severe. Just wanted to curl up in bed and do absolutely nothing.

Can' t wait for baby to arrive. Though they say it is far easier to have one inside than out )

Wish u all a happy and healthy delivery.

Love, Shabana

Hi Shabana

I understand wht ur going thru cuz we all r going thru more or else the same discomforts.... Just wanted to ask u are ur iron levels ok??? cuz it seems ur fatigue is on higher side.... ru still wrking??? If so den i think its high time for u to start ur maternity leave cuz it seems ur body is not able to take too much of stress at this point....

As far as swelling is concerned, though my hands n legs are not very swollen but yeh in the morning even my face looks bloated n also i have a hard time going off to sleep at night n not to mention the pain while turning ard or getting up frm the bed.

Even i wish all this ends as soon as possible...wanna hold my lil one in my arms as soooon as possible:)

So hang on there n whenever ur down just think tht there r many more of us going thru the same situation.... the feeling tht ur not alone might help u to be more positive :)

Take care n lots of luv to the lil one
Rashi

Dear Rashi,

Thanks for the uplifting words :) I have been taking iron tablets though my last blood report showed that my haemoglobin levels are lower than normal. My doc thinks that may be the reason for my fatigue.

I´ ve already taken leave from office as it was getting increasingly harder to be working at this point.

Wish u the best for ur big day.

Love, Shabana

Hi tej,
I think this event will be done all most in every state for women. It will be done to women when they are in five months of pregnancy. So it will be done by your parents at that stage.... - Neel [View Message]
