Hey guys,

When is the right time to proceed on maternity leave? I am being told that one should start taking it easy by the 36th week. Any suggestions?

Hey Shabana,

It all depends on ur comfort level really......

with me i m in my 31st week now.... hv moved to my mums place in andheri today..... My office is in Worli...

I plan to continue working from office for another week to 10 days.... again depending on my comfort level in travelling.... from there on my company has considered my case n is lettin me work from home for abt a month.... So i plan to continue working till abt 1st week of June.... I wud ideally be in my 37th week then.... but yes its diff wen u r working from the comfort of ur home..... i' l say i' ve been a lil fortunate in dis case....

u can always try talkin to ur boss abt a similar arrangement if it works for u.....

I´ ve started working from home since I find the commute to office very tiring and uncomfortable(I live in Andheri and work at Lower Parel).

I am due on June 2 so I am thinking of proceeding on maternity leave in the 3rd week of May.
