Hi all,
I am in 29th week of pregnancy. Can anybody tell me how to count baby movements and what is an ideal count?

u can feel mvmnt as early as 13th week in later preg bt nt befr 20 th week in the 1st ..i felt the 1st mvmnt in my 2nd preg at 12th week!!
but pattern can be deciphered only after 34th week ++ it is said u should count atleast 20kicks in 4hrs in a day as babies mstly sleep and mvmnt becomes intense by 38th week and slow dwn later on due space but if u donot feel ANY movement for 24hrs inform ur doc
jsut to share a trivia my son through out my preg followed a starnge pattern he never moved on saturdays no explanations!!!

hi shwetha... me also in my 9th week... as for baby movements... if you can appreciate some movements in a day is good enough.. the movement count gets its significance only after 34th week as per gynaec...
