Due Date Club January 2009:No weight gain in last 3 weeks
2008-10-19
Name: Archna Mittal

Hi Friends,
I have completed my 27 weeks. In last 3 weeks I haven' t gained any weight which is bothering me , my husband and my doctor. My doctor said that if this continues then I might be having pre-term labour. Please share if somebody have the knowledge of this kind of scenario.
I have decided to stay at home for 2 weeks and take proper diet. I am just crossing my fingers that everything turns out fine.

Please let me know if somebody have the knowledge of this kind of scenario where weight gain was normal afterwards.

Regards,
-Archna

Hi Archna,
Not gaining weight for 3 weeks is not a problem. Many times our weight varies whether you check in the morning or evening, before food or after food and many criteria like this.
Continue eating good nutritious food and dry fruits to increase your iron consumption and have a banana every day along with your breakfast which is good in adding weight and go for brief walks.

Hi Archana,

Have u got ur sono done? Just check if the feutus growth reflects 27mth of pregnancy. If thats the case, then u need not worry much. I just had my sono few hrs back, my doc suggested the same thing. However, do take rest as much as u can. Add proteins to ur diet - paneer & threptin bisciuts help a lot, thats my personal exp. All the best. keep us posted on ur progress...
