Have you ever watched the Republic Day ceremony in New Delhi, in India? Do you have any fond memories of celebrating this festival?

I wish I could see the parade. It sounds really lovely. I have many nice memories of celebrating republic day while growing up. In schools and colleges, there used to be a celebration of republic day. In schools and colleges we used to hoist the national flags, sing patriotic songs and enact plays.

This parade is wonderful to watch and a pleasure to see. One or two days before the final day, there is a full dress rehearsal. The trail of smoke left by the jet is the colours of the tricolour. At the end of the parade a lot of balloons are also released. All the government buildings in the capital are decorated with lights.

Yes, I have seen the Republic Day parade at New Delhi. This parade is really worth seeing and looks very good. A prize is awarded to the State with the best float and dance. People stand on the entire route from Rajpath to Red Fort on both sides to watch the parade. People from neighbouring States also come to watch the Republic Day parade.
