I am new to this group.I am due on 20th feb with my first baby. I had my blood test done last week and the haemoglobin levels had dropped much below normal. My doctor has put me on iron supplements. But what changes i can make in my diet to improve haemoglobin, naturally?

Any suggestions......anyone

Thanks everyone for your help!!!
I' ve started taking spinach, or brocoli in meals and dry fruits along with the iron supplements. So things should improve quickly.

Once again thanks all of you for your support and help.

Hi,
In order to absorb iron you need good vitamin C too along with the above mentioned veggies and dry fruits. So add lemon & citrus fruits to your diet.

take your medicines and supplements
