Hi Siya,

I have four month old daughter, my TSH levels were also high because of thyroid problem i had been taking thyronorm medicine before pregnancy and my doctor prescribed 50mg extra just for the growth of the child.

This medicine does not have any side effect but would specially advise you to go to one endocronologist(Thyroid Specialist) so that he can check your thyroid levels at regular intervals...and if required the dose of thyronorm can be increased specially for the growth of the child.

This medicine is to be taken regularly empty stomach..dont leave this medicine even one day...

do consult a good endocronologist i am still taking this medicine as because of this medicine only my thyroid levels are in control..

dont worry and be happy..

With best Wishes
Purnima

I' m from Dec board, even i' m having hypothyroidism which i came to know at 20th week. You shld consult a Endocrinologist(which i think ur doc must have suggested you),he/she will put u under medication which is a must now.I' m taking medicine daily for that n mine is in control now.You shld not delay this as this will affect the baby' s growth.
There' s no need to worry if u r taking medicines regularly.
