Hi Meera,

nice to see a message from you!! hope you and the lil one are doing fine.. looks like the baby is keen to come out now that its almost there :) dont worry everything will be fine..

me doing fine.. am working from home since august 1.. so dont have to get up and get ready to office.. such a relief it is to work at ur own pace :) anyways am coming to mom' s place on the 15th of aug..looking forward to it :)

have my next appt on the 16th with Dr. Uma.. btw, have you decided abt attending the labor class with your hubby? am sure u must be looking forward to his arrival on the 12th :)

How r u doing? howz the little one?
Hope u r in maternity leave and have u come to moms place yet?

Yday had an appt with Dr.Shobhana as a part of routine check-up. She´ s asked me to take a complete obstetrics scan and meet her after 2 weeks.

Am already feeling very heavy and since the babys head is pushing down, i´ ve got pains between my legs and just cant sleep at night :( Just hoping the next 5 weeks fly!!!

So howzzit with u? everything fine?

i believe the labor class in august is on the 14th.. are you planning to attend? i am planning to.. let me know so that we can meet then :)

am doing good and so is the baby i guess! :) How abt u? nice to c a msg from u. I had an appt on 24th and i saw the doc in Seethapathy Clinic itself. My next one is on the 7th of aug.

I hadnt yet enquired abt the labor class..but from wat u say, i think i´ ll attend the 14th one. My hubby is back from UK exactly on the 12th so i guess i just got lucky!!! :) and ya we can sure meet then!!

btw, u must be gearing up for ur seemantham tomm...Hope it goes well :)

Sorry I cudnt respond soon...our broadband was down for coupla days!
hope u r doing well.

I went for my appointment this Monday. The doc has asked me to come to Seethpathy Clinic itself for consultation after 2 weeks.
Have you had a hospital visit of the clinic? Any idea how the rooms are?

and also are you taking the iron and calcium tablets that doc has advised? When do u take them during the day?

Right now am not working. So just chilling(in chennai!! )) at mom' s place. Tomm planning to go for that review class.

So wats from ur end?

Hey there

Hi Meera,

nice to hear from you...hope you are doing fine.. me and baby are doing fine :) i go to Seethapathy Clinic for my regular check ups.. the rooms are pretty ok.. my friend delivered there.. had been to see her.. i think they are good. but one good thing abt the clinic is the ambience there... i somehow find it very calm and soothing.. kind of bonded with the place rite from the beginning..gave me a very nice feeling.. hope u too like it!!

yes i am taking the iron and calcium tablets.. calcium in the mornings and iron in the nights.

am still working... but slowly losing interest :( wanna just be at home and take rest!! lets see... hopefully, from august 1 i should be at home :)

hi meera..

hope your valaikapu function went on well..mine is on 29th july (both valaikapu and seemandham)

hope your antenatal classes were useful..i found them to be very helpful :)

i consult Dr. Shobana in Seethapathy Clinic itself.

Did the instructor ask you to come for a labor class one month before we are due? so ideally, we are supposed to be attending the class in august.. If so, then maybe we could meet then :)

btw, where do you stay in chennai?

Hey Meera,

My parents live in Mylapore!! I stay in Arumbakkam.. i will be coming there for my delivery!! :) ya i hope your hubby is back by then so that both of you can attend. i guess what the instructor says is correct.. aug end mite to too late..

i didnt attend the review class as it was held on a weekday and could not take off :( anyways i do the exercises at home.. so its ok for now :)

ya we should try and meet up then :)

btw, when is your next appt? mine is on the 16th of this month

Even i tried posting a msg with address and fone number and it got rejected...I tried to respond to the girl who had asked for the address...

The ante-natal classes are good. Today I had gone for the review class..Planning to attend all review classes possible so that atleast I get motivated to exercise in a group! :)
Dont you attend them anymore?

I stay in Mylapore. and ya reg the labor class, the instructor told me that it wud be in august. I wish I could attend the aug end class so that my hubby wud be bak by then. But she asked me to call and find out as she feels it wud be too late..nearing due date. In that case I need to attend w/o hubby. Anycase i guess we could meet then! :)

Seethapathy Clinic

yes i have met Dr. Shobana as well. See its like this. Both Dr. Uma Ram and Dr. Shobana make it a point to meet each
other' s patients so that when we get admitted for delivery, they know the case history of the patient. Both of them are very good :)

i attended one ante natal exercise class in april. there is a labor class which should be attended along with our hubbies one month before our due month. So ideally we should be attending the one that will be conducted in august. will have to call up the clinic some time in the last week of july to find out the date and time of the labor class.

My due date is Sep 27 :) when is ur seemantham/ valakappu???

My valaikapu happened 10 days bak. Hubby is in UK so no seemandham!
What abt urs?

As I came bak from UK only few weeks bak, i havent attended any ante-natal classes..Tomm am attending the first one. wondering how it wud be!?

So do u consult Dr Shobana in Seethpathy? I go to her in Apollo Clinic.

Seethapathy Clinic is very good!!

Hi Meera,

Seethapathi clinic in chennai is very good..they have excellent facilites.. I am having my delivery there :)there are 2 primary docs.. Dr. Shobana and Dr. Uma Ram. Both of them are excellent and highly respected. I would strongly recommend Seethapathi Clinic. most of the cases i have heard are normal deliveries in this clinic.

dunno much about Apollo Hospitals..

btw, when are you due?
