After sticking them on, you could polish them, remove the polish, file them or clip them no, they won't grow back! If you want to remove your artificial nails, soak them in warm water for around ten minutes, and very gently peel them off. You may need the help of a nail file or other sharp object to pry them loose. Make sure you are very gentle, as you don't want to injure your nails. It may be time to remove them when you find that your natural nail has grown, and you can see the real nail under the artificial one.

If you are careful with artificial nails, you will not cause any damage to your original nails, but just bear in mind that these products will not make your nails any healthier, though they may cause nails to look healthy! In order for your nails to remain healthy, you should remove the artificial nails once in a while, and let your nails breathe for a few weeks, before sticking them on again.

Certain salons also apply artificial nails, so you could perhaps get it done at your parlour the first time before experimenting on your own. However, there is nothing easier than simply gluing them on, but make sure you read the instructions. First of all, you will need to pick the nails from the selection, to fit on each finger. Each nail should have a number written on the underside, and these numbers come in pairs. Once you select the nails for one hand, simply select the same numbers for your other hand. As already mentioned, each packet should contain many extra nails to help you select those that are perfect for your fingers. Those extra nails needn't go to waste simply pass them on to your sister or best friend, who will love you for it!
