Q: My husband and I are having problems conceiving. A few years ago, I had my right ovary removed due to a form of strep. I now have scar tissue in my pelvic area. Could this be causing my conception problems? If so, what is the remedy?

A: Adhesions (scar tissue) can impair tubal function. You should ask your doctor to do an operative laparocopy to correct this problem.
