They look down to women and girls as a weaker gender and impose many restrictions on them. We need to change the mentality of people in rural India and villages so that they stop gender discrimination and let girls and women progress. Name: Smita Country: India Comment: Women are empowered in today’s India. They can do whatever they want unlike in olden times. They are no less than men. But in rural areas gender discrimination is still happening. Name: Pushkaraj Country: India Comment: In Indian society women are no more treated as a weaker gender. Today they are ahead in all fields and can do all that men are able to do.
