Not taking kids for shopping is like escaping the problem. Need to take them, make them understand what they can buy and what they can not. Afterall, even they should have the fun of shopping..and learn in life that they can not buy everything but only things that are affordable Name: Srikanth Country: India Comment: I prefer going for shopping with my kid who is close to 3 yrs. They might not get/understand what ever you do there, but it 'll definitely give them a basic idea that we need to buy things by paying money and also understand the value of the products we buy for them. At the same time they get good exposure to different kind of environments. Name: Niraja Country: India Comment: It is absolutely hectic to take young kids out for shopping. It is better to make them stay with other family members at home while you are going out for shopping. I leave my 3 year old kid with my mother-in-law when I go out for shopping with my husband. Because my kid is very stubborn and he will not stop crying if I do not that give him the things which he likes. Name: Sushma Country: India Comment: I do not take my kids out for shopping with me at all. It is very hectic to shop with the kids. Also if they like some toy or any eatable while shopping they will not want anything other than that. So I do not like to upset them and I prefer to keep them at home while I am at the shopping. Name: Diya Country: India Comment: Taking kids out for shopping is not a problem but it depends on what is the age of the child. If child is a 10 to 12 months old that it is quite difficult to shop with them. Personally I feel that kids should be at least 8 to 9 years old to take them for shopping. And it is very difficult to handle kids of 3 to 4 years of age during shopping time.
