But, that has never kept me back on maintaining my regime of dinner together with my kids, since they have been able to sit up (say 1 year old). It sends a lot of messages to the kids - we all eat the same thing without excuses without exceptions, all are same in the family - no favouritism towards sibling, a lot of family cohesiveness has happened due to this. Name: Pankaj Country: India Comment: It is really important to be with the kids for dinner. My kids do not have dinner without me. My wife and my kids always wait for me for dinner. So I always make it a point that I reach home on time. If because of any reason I am not able to reach on time, my kids get upset with me as for the whole day I am not there with my kids. Name: Madhurima Country: India Comment: My husband's schedule is so tight that on the weekdays he cannot have dinner with us. But on the weekends he is always there to have dinner with me and my kids. But I do not like my husband's behaviour. I want him to be there each day with me and my kids to at least have dinner. Name: Rishabh Country: India Comment: My child is just six months old so it is too early for me to be there for dinner on time. However, I make sure that I have dinner with my wife. It is very important to have family dinner together as it is the most crucial time that you spend with your family. And of course I will be there with my family always for having dinner together. I have skipped parties so many times so that I can have dinner with my family. ![]() INDIAPARENTING IN THE NEWS HOME | Comments or Suggestions | Resources | RSS Site Map | Contact Us | Advertise with Us All Rights Reserved Worldwide.
