Name: Ashok Country: India Comment: Children should be assigned with simple household work like washing vegetables, sweeping the floor etc. However, parents should not ask them to do difficult tasks. Parents should first make sure that their child is capable of doing a particular task according to his or her age. Starting with simple tasks is advisable otherwise children may also harm themselves during this regimen. Name: Preeti Country: India Comment: It is ok to take help from kids during their vacations. However, it is not correct to take help from them when they are studying. A little bit of help from children is ok during weekends. Otherwise parents should be concerned about their studies and career rather taking their help in household chores. Name: Shamala Country: India Comment: Kids will help in household chores only when parents encourage them to do so. In the beginning, parents should ask kids to do simple household chores. I ask my kids to wash the vegetables, sweep the floor, clean the sofa etc. In this way I take help from my kids in the household chores.
