I agree with Anushka and Rama that we should not give junk food to kids at all. Also, it is very important for parents to encourage kids to take part in outdoor sports. Now a days kids are attracted to computers and video games so they lose interest to go out and play with other kids. Therefore, it is very necessary to encourage outdoor sports and help children avoid junk food.

Junk food is very bad for kids. I prepare Indian snacks like poha, upma, idli for my kids and do not allow them to eat anything from outside. I have read many times that junk food is the main reason for increasing obesity in children. Therefore, I give only homemade snacks to my kids and try to keep them involved in outdoor activities like cycling etc every time.

I do not allow my kids to have junk food at all. Junk food is very harmful for kids. It is because of junk food that the obesity rate in children is increasing. Therefore, I try to avoid junk as much as possible. Instead I prefer to dry fruits, fruit salads to my kids frequently and keep them away from junk food. Junk food can prove very harmful for kids. Therefore, all parents should keep their kids away from junk food.
