You may make child understand that it is not good to misbehave in public after going back home. It will create a very bad scene in public if you shout at your child at that time.

It is not good to shout at child in public but sometimes it is necessary to shout at child to control misbehavior. However, controlling anger in public is a must otherwise it can get worse.
