Name: priya dutt Country: India Comment: i agree with nitin completely, parents should giude their children well, i m also a mother of a son, he at times watches reality shows with us but we keep on telling him about the truth of these types of shows and when he sees us criticising all these shows he get this thing in his mind tht these thrilling and stunt shows ae not the real ones, no one can be a moral police for the entire society. Name: Naina Country: India Comment: Yes it does create a bad impact on child’s life because it is not good to show them these entire things because of which they lose interest in studies. Singing, dancing and playing music is good but they are not as important as studies. So children should be taught about the importance of studies rather than pushing them in reality shows. It is very necessary to educate them rather than asking them to spend time on such irrelevant activities. However, if they have deep interest in these things then it is a different issue, but parents should not force children to take part in reality shows. Name: Rajat Country: U.A.E. Comment: Realty shows should be banned. Especially the one which involves participation of celebrities should be banned at an earliest. Children should be kept away from such shows where they show how celebrities behave in their real life. Some celebrities can be actually seen using abusive language on the reality shows which is bad for children. So for the betterment of children parents should stop watching such shows which involve celebrities. Actually these reality shows where celebrities take part are the reality shows just for the name sake. It is parent’s responsibility to keep children away from bad shows. Parents have a full right of deciding which TV shows will be good and bad for children. This helps in avoiding bad impact on child’s life because of the reality. However, all reality shows are not bad. Some reality shows really encourage the creativity and talent of the child. Some talent hunt shows like singing and dancing reality shows dedicated to children are really good to watch for both parents and children.
