i think it is immaterial to think of age. there is no harm in that. marriage depends on indvidual's nature.

It is natural for human beings to have varying aspirations with age; also physically personality changes with age. Physiological changes is difficult to predict. there is some truth therefore in the saying it is better to marry a women younger in age; as chances of mutual compatibility will increase with age. But chances are less in the reverse scenario. ; It all depends on individuals priorities and understanding capabilities.

i don't think age diffence matters, ofcourse the difference should not be too much, bt if a girl is little older than the boy, i think they would not face any tensions further as girls are too mature to handle the situation. I think there should be bonding between any couple where either the girl is older or the boy is older than to her.

It may create a problem in future life. It is very essential that there should be at-least 4 years of gap between husband and wife. Here I definitely mean to say that husband should be older. This is because women get older very soon therefore when women are already older than in future life she may look older than her husband which does not look good. It may also happen that husband might get tired of his wife who is older to him and may start following young girls. So it will be very difficult for a woman to control her man.

It is ok if the wife is elder than the husband. In fact this concept is very much in fashion these days. There are many celebrity ladies who have married to a person who is younger to them. And even common people practice this a-lot these days. I have seen many women who are actually looking for guys who are younger to them for getting married. Even I have a boyfriend who is one year younger to me. So I do not have any problem marrying him. In fact I do not even remember that he is younger to me and there is no problem between us due to this reason.

I do not think that there is any problem that would be created if the wife is older than the husband. I have seen many cases where the wives are younger and older than the husbands but still they are not happy with each other. Even the wife is beautiful and young some husbands are not happy with her. However, in many cases the wives are older than the husband but still they happy with each other and love each other very much. I think age does not matter at all. The thing which matters is how much you love each other.
