![]() Views on Poll ![]() Name: priya dutt Country: India Comment: it is purely a personal decision, in today's life when living is becoming very expensive, we all r thinking of having only one kid so tht we could give them the best, but if a family can afford and manage two kids, there is no harm rather there would be harmony only and ofcourse chile would get a company also and will also inculcate the sharing and bonding habits. Name: Sudha Country: India Comment: No, I think that each child should have at least a sibling. It is very important as the only child of parents may become lonely. If there are two children, the elder child is always there to protect younger child. Yes, all the siblings fight with each other but it is not necessary that these fights last longer. Siblings may also be like best friends for each other and share best relationship. So why should we keep our child away from such a lovely relationship and create barrier to him or her to enjoy such sweet bond of love. And if the parents can afford to provide all the necessities for two children properly, then why should they avoid having two children ? Name: Priyesh Country: India Comment: Yes, I feel that is a better idea to have only child. This thought should be considered by all the Indian parents. As population is growing day by day it is important to think about such issues. It is not good to support our own needs and having two or more than two children is not a necessity according to me. It is true that most of the parents from section A and B of the society can afford to have two children however, it is not correct to think about selfish needs. We should think about growing population as well as poverty in India. And if one has more wealth, than he or she can help poor children who do not have food to eat or good clothes to wear. Name: Kunda Country: India Comment: Yes, I feel that it is better to have one child. This is because parents can pay all the attention to this child for his or her proper development. I also help to fulfil all the necessities of the child if that child is only child of his or her parents. Also when I was a small child, I used to think that my parents love my brother more than they love me. There were also many fights which took place in me and my brother when we were small. He always wanted to have what my parents brought for me. When there is only child, the question of such fights does not arise and child can live happily with his or her parents in his house. ![]() INDIAPARENTING IN THE NEWS HOME | Comments or Suggestions | Resources | RSS Site Map | Contact Us | Advertise with Us All Rights Reserved Worldwide.
