Name: tbhattacharyya Country: India Comment: it's very difficult for both the partners to agree on the same point as to go for adoption to bring home a second baby. i would prefer to go with the idea because i have already gone through the joys of natural motherhood. why not experience the other way to motherhood? in any case, a baby, no matter its from your womb or somebody elses', will always bring smile and joy to your life. Name: g Country: Other Comment: Emotional point of view it is very good to adopt a child but practically somewhere the feeling exists that the child is not our own. It really requires a great heart not just to adopt a child but really to grow up the child with the same treatment which we give to our own child. The two children should not complain in future that you are not my bro or sis. Wifes opinion matters a lot in this. Without her consent the matter can be worse in future. Name: Brijesh Country: U.A.E. Comment: Yes, I am ready to adopt a child. I already have a daughter and looking to adopt one boy child. I am already in the process of discussion with adoption agencies that how should I go about it. It is really a good thing to give new life to an orphan child instead of having second child. But my wife does not agree with me. She wants to have second child but she wants to give birth to that child and does not want to adopt. However, I will try to convince my wife. This is because when a couple has their own children why would they consider adoption. Anyways the process of adoption is very difficult and takes lot of time. Why will a couple who is happily married with kid involve them selves in this difficult process? Only a couple who is desperate to have kids will go for adoption. There are very few couples who will do this good deed in spite of having their own kid. I do not really think that any body would take this step. Name: Krishna Country: India Comment: Yes, why not? I would prefer to adopt a child rather than having a second child. I have discussed this with my wife also and she does not have any problem with this condition. I already have a two year old son. We are planning to adopt a baby girl as soon as our soon becomes three year old. Adoption is as good as giving a birth to new life. In fact it is a better way of giving lots of happiness to a child who deserves lot of love and care. We are very eager to bring our daughter home as well as our soon is excited to meet his sister.
