Name: angel Country: Canada Comment: yes, a friend can be a good husband. i am married to one. we were friends first and never thought about marriage and it happend. he is wonderful guy. we still treat each other like friends and we have a child too. but it depends on the person to. i know someone else, they were friends too and than got married. but they are going through hell know. sometimes personality is a big issu too. before marriage everything is hunky and dory but the real movie starts after marriage. it is 50-50. and it is all written. So, i believe that hubby can turn friend, but friend cannot turn hubby. I don't know how many will be agree with me. But my answer is 'NO'. I think that relationship will blossom if husband treat his wife as friend and share all her problem and vice-versa. Life will be much easier for both of them. I think that it is a better idea to marry a friend rather than a stranger whom we meet through our parents and relatives. Comment: No I do not agree, the role friend and husband are totally different from each other. If women starts treating her husband like a friend she will never respect him. It is very important that women treat her husband like a husband only and give the amount of respect which a husband needs to be given. The status of husband in a life of women is much higher than a status of friend. It is very important to treat each relation with correctly and the way it has been treated since decades. I think that there is no other person in this whole world who can be a good husband other than a friend. On the other hand it can be difficult for some women to accept their husbands as a good friend. However, there are some good husbands and wives who treat each other at par and behave like friends with each other. Also you will find some worst guys in the world who treat their wives as slaves, which is incorrect.
