Name: Dronavalli Srinivas Country: India Comment: Actually there was a huge amount of survey being made on number 13, however in the west people think that 13 is an unlucky number and that too 13th date falling on a friday is more treated as much unlucky this may be on the account of crucification however studing the vibrations the number 13 is treated as a very power full number and it has both extremes either a very good or very bad but combination of the 13 with 8 is not good. Name: Gautam Country: India Comment: I must say this is nothing but a superstition. People have so many beliefs about good omens and bad omens. Some believe that it is not a good omen if a black cat crosses your path. I think such beliefs are immerged out of folk tales which are told and listened to for ages. I do not think that number 13 is unlucky. My birth date is 13 Feb, so should I say that I was born on unlucky day? Instead I believe that my birth date is very lucky for me. I have heard that number 13 is considered unlucky as it can not be divided into an even number. It has lot to do with Christianity. But how one particular number will be unlucky? I do not think so. Name: Nishita Country: India Comment: No. 13 is believed to be unlucky in two religions. One is Christian and other is Pagan. The fear that many people feel for number 13 is called as triskaidekaphobia. Some people feel contrary. They feel that No 13 is actually a lucky No. I can not be firm that this number is unlucky for me but I remember two incidents in my life which were not good and they had something to do with number 13. I incurred some loss when I indulge in a business deal on 13th June. In the second incident I lost my pet in an accident and the date was 13. I am not saying that it is due to bad luck of this particular number but there was some significance. Name: Amogh Country: India Comment: Number 13 is considered unlucky by many people. According to numerology number 12 is considered the number of completeness. There are twelve months in a year; there are twelve zodiac signs and so on. I read somewhere that because there were 13 people the time of the last supper, this number is considered unlucky. 13th Friday is believed to be good as well as bad. Jesus Christ was crucified on the Friday. I have come across some cases where people reported strange experiences regarding the number 13. I personally neither believe nor deny the belief about this number. But I think if so many people believe that it is bad then there must be some meaning behind it.
