It is natural for a teenager to question what parents tell. It is all a part of growing up. Today though, it is not restricted to teenagers. Young children are also behaving the same way. It is mostly the parents fault. They allow their children to do what they want and then complain when they cannot control them.

When my children were small, they listened to whatever I said. Now they are in college. Everyday we have some fights or the other. They do not want to listen to me at all and think they can do what they like.

My seven year old has recently started backanswering me. This is whenever I tell him to stop playing and do his homework. He will go on and on and tell me why I don't tell his sister to do her homework as well. I don't know how to make him understand.
