![]() Views on Poll ![]() Name: Laxmi Country: India Comment: My son is 1.5 year old and he sleeps on my bed. He is still very young and needs my constant attention. Moreover, I cannot sleep without him being with me. I feel children should be with their parents till they are atleast 3 year olds. We Indians have great family bond and this is one of the ways it is generated. Name: Goldi Country: India Comment: My child is 3 yrs. and I make her sleep along with us.In my opinion the child should sleep with her Mom till the problem of bed wetting is solved.Further by 5 Yrs. the child can be shifted to another room. She should have a space of her own.The child feels independent and confident to carry her own chores. Name: bpnhkgaya3 Country: India Comment: It is better to keep the child by the side of parents in the cot. So that we can tell them stories and make him to understand or answer his/her questions. Name: Shalini Country: India Comment: Its better to keep the baby with her parents when she's small as she needs to feel their warmth.Gradually when she grows bigger, she can be put separate. In a way,it can help grow her confidence level and be independent. Name: Priyum Country: India Comment: I don't believe that children should be made to sleep separate. They do not have the opportunity to get to know their parents because they are kept away. It is better that they remain with the parents when they are small. Name: Ankita Country: India Comment: My mother-in-law suggested that we keep the baby with us. She says that when the child is close to the mother, it forms a deeper bond with her. I do not know if this has actually worked. My sister kept her child separate and they do not have any problems. Name: Sushila Country: India Comment: When my children were small, we set up the cot in our room itself. This way, we could attend to them immediately when they cried. After some time, we gradually shifted them to their own room. HOME | Comments or Suggestions | Resources | RSS Site Map | Contact Us | Advertise with Us All Rights Reserved Worldwide.
