Walking is madness when the school is far off.I would prefer vans which carry 7-8 children and pick and drop at home.

vans are good with a good driver ofcourse.they are not overcrowded like buses and are easily accessible as they pick and drop the child from house

I remember going by bus to school. Those were such fun times. We would all rush to get the best seats and everyone had so much fun. We don't really see that nowadays in the school buses.

I would never send my child by school bus. It is such a horrible experience. The children are brutes and the big ones harass the little ones. Besides, the drivers are very bad also. I prefer to send my daughter by our car. At least I know she is safe.

I think it is best to send your children to school walking. This way they become more independent and they also develop a sense of responsibility. The only drawback to this mode is that your child should go to a school close to home. This has other benefits as well.
