Name: Vidya Country: India Comment: This totally depends on the family's monitory situation and person's interest. Wife should never be forced to work or not work by her family for any reason. If she feels she needs to be independent and utlize her education/talent she should work. Name: kanan Country: USA Comment: GOD U RESIDE IN THIS HOUSE SO I WANT TO KEEP IT CLEAN. GOD U HAVE GIVEN ME CHILDREN SO I SHOULD TRY MY LEVEL BEST TO MAKE HIM THE BEST PERSON AND OFFER IT TO SOCIETY,SANSKRUTI AND GOD. GIVING HIM THE APPROPRIATE SANSKARS.AS A LADY SHE HAS LOT OF RESPONSIBILITIES AND CAN CHANGE THE WHOLE SOCIETY IF SHEWANTS.GOOD TOUGHTS ARE VERY IMP AND MONEY IS NOT EVERYTING IN LIFE. THUS A LADY SHOULD NOT WORK . SHE HAS TO DO MUCH MUCH MORE THEN EARING MONEY. Name: Preeti Country: India Comment: I am totally agree with Pankaj in this regard. I dont think its necessary to draw a boundary who should work and who should not. It totally depends on particula couple how they manage their needs. And its very clear like Pankaj said that they can not move a bit unless and untill both the wheel is all right. So both has to understand each other, care each other, trust each other, love each other and I am sure any couple who as all these will never worry about rest of the things. :) :) Name: Pankaj Country: India Comment: I am agree with Shannu and Suchi. Basically both are like a wheel of a bycyle. So both has to be fit and fight. Both has to understand each other. They are a family and not the freedom fighter who need so called INDEPENDENCE. If there is proper balance in understanding, I dont think it really matters who work outside and who work inside. Its not only work, its everything wich they BOTH has to share and do. And if they really have enough love and affection with each other...its never a problem. Name: Namita Country: India Comment: yes, it is very important for a lady to become financially independent. this will help her develop self confidence and make her realise of her multi faceted personality which i think is very important in a male dominated society like ours. this confidence will benefit her as well as her family. Name: Suchi Country: India Comment: It all depends from person to persom. I think more important is that wife should be qualified enough that even if she does not want to work she can atlead help her husband when need arises. If she wishes to work then i think working part time is an ideal choice, so she can take care of the home front too and be financially important also. If she has a child then she can take care of her too if she is working part time. Name: Shannu Country: India Comment: i dont think its absolutely necessary for the wife to work. I guess if there is a lot of understanding between the husband and the wife, each one can handle their own front. Taking care of the home is not an easy job. It too requires skill and talent. But this does not mean that the wife cannot work. Its always good to B independent. So that there is always something to rely on. I suppose, it depends on the husband and the security a wife feels with him that can help her take the decision abt the job. Name: Satya Country: India Comment: An wife should work irrespective of the financial status of her husband. She should not restrict her talent to the four walls of her house. Name: pionia Country: India Comment: I think that husband &wife belongs to one family so the wife should cler the financial problem with her husband Name: Jayachandran Country: India Comment: An earning wife is more confident and have less complexes than a house wife. Name: Mitesh Desai Country: India Comment: i think it's depends on the financial position of the Husband. ![]() INDIAPARENTING IN THE NEWS HOME | Comments or Suggestions | Resources | RSS Site Map | Contact Us | Advertise with Us All Rights Reserved Worldwide.
