 Frequently Asked Questions

Q: I'm pregnant for the second time. My question is when does your egg split during the pregnancy?

Ajuni (San Jose, USA )

A: Was your first pregnancy a natural one without any medications to induce ovulation? The egg can split before or after ovulation.

Q: I am pregnant with twins and just recently found out that one baby is 10 ounces larger than the other. Will their weights even out or will I have to be given steroids with hospitalization?

Dawn (Kansas City, USA )

A: There is always a difference in the baby weights in case of twins so do not worry. If one of the twins has a birth weight of less than 1.5kg then the baby will require hospitalization and you will have to take steroids.
