Q: My nephew snores during his sleep. The doctor says he may be having adenoids, which will have to be removed. He has a very nasal voice. The doctor feels it is all related to his tonsils. Is it necessary to undergo surgery? The doctor said that he should get operated for Adenoids and should also get his tonsils removed at the same time. Laxmi (Noida, India) |
A: Going in for surgery is the right decision. The more you delay the operation, the more effect it will have on his speech (nasal twang) and his facial expressions. It will also affect his general development. |
