PYAAZ KI ROTI Recipe | | Main Course Recipe by Tarla Dalal |
| | INGREDIENTS | 4 to 5 onions
3 to 4 chopped green chillies
3 to 4 teaspoons dried pomegranate seeds
2 teacups whole meal flour
2 teaspoons ghee
Salt to taste
| | METHOD | Roast the anardana slightly and powder them.
Cut the onions very finely. Sprinkle a little salt, wait for 5 minutes and squeeze out the water completely.
To the onions, add the green chillies, salt and powdered anardana.
Add the ghee and 1/2 teaspoon salt to the flour and prepare a soft dough by adding water.
Roll out a small roti, put a little of the onion mixture in it, close it and roll out again. Repeat for the rest of the dough.
Roast the rotis lightly on a tava on both sides.
When you want to serve, put the roti in a toaster, allow it to become crisp and serve hot.
