Parenting Lessons from Indian Celebrity Dads

Parenting Lessons from Indian Celebrity Dads
We learn a lot of things from movies. There are also a lot of good things which celebrities teach through their conduct in real life. Here are few parenting lessons from some of today’s top Indian celebrity dads.

Celebrities are under tremendous pressure almost all the time and this sometimes takes quite a heavy toll on their personal life. While some crumble under the pressure others rise up splendidly and prove themselves to be sterling husbands, sons and dads in an exemplary way. So the next time you feel stressed out you can take some inspiration from the celebrity dads and their parenting skills.

Shahrukh Khan and Suhana, Aryan, ABRam

The king of Bollywood is not only a great showman he is also a great father. According to reports he is someone who still attends his daughters dance recitals and cheers his kids at Taekwondo Championships and dresses up like a superhero for Aryan.
Shahrukh and Gauri Khan are in an inter faith marriage and he has allowed his kids to choose whichever religion they want to practice. In the case of ABRam (his youngest) Shahrukh seems to have morphed into a 100% hands on father. If the king of Bollywood can become a perfect dad notwithstanding his super busy schedule so can anyone.

Abhishek Bacchhan and Aradhya

Junior Bacchhan and Aishwariya could have won any parenting competition in town as they are extremely devoted to their little angel; Aradhya. Abhishek wants Aradhya to grow up independently away from the pressures of stardom and choose her own career. He was very categorical about keeping his daughter shielded from media glare in her early years. Abhishek says that as a parent the best gift that one gives kids is unconditional love, understanding and a great education. This is a valuable lesson for all dads out there…

Ajay Devgan and Nyasa, Yug

Ajay Devgan is a completely hands on father who is categorical about not missing out on family time because of his busy schedule. It is common for the action star to shun the spotlight and instead spend time babysitting his son Yug or watch Disney cartoons with daughter Nyasa. Ajay says that it is important to keep a balance in life and devote time both to work and family. He further says that the responsibility of being a dad is the greatest responsibility that has been conferred on him.

Saif Ali Khan Pataudi and Ibrahim, Sara

Saif Ali Khan could easily become a model for how separated dads with new wives should behave. Though Saif now has a new family with Kareena and he is separated from Amrita Singh his ex-wife all this does not stop him from being devoted to his kids; Sara and Ibrahim.
Saif Ali Khan Pataudi belongs to a very aristocratic and affluent family and he can basically afford to give his children everything. However, he quoted “I believe that balance is very important in life”. I am happy only when I spend time with my family. Saif’s attitude exemplifies the way even separated dads can become ideal parents.

Akhshay Kumar and Aarav, Nitara

Though Akshay Kumar has a rough and tough image on screen off screen he is like putty in the hand of his kids Aarav and Nitara. Akshay loves his son so much that he has got his son’s name tattooed on his back. Akshay also encourages his kids to be charitable and generous towards the less privileged.
Akshay tweeted a very emotional statement after the birth of his daughter “there is no lovelier feeling on earth than the feel of holding your own child in your hands”. This statement reinforces the fact that there is indeed no greater blessing or responsibility bigger than parenthood.
Now that you know what all these celebrity dads have to say about fatherhood you could take some cues from them and become your own child’s hero.

Do celebrities make good parents? What can we learn from celebrity parents? Which are the best celebrity dads of Bollywood? Discuss here.
