![]() CHITRANNA INGREDIENTS: 1 cup green gram dal (mung)
METHOD: First, wash the rice and dal thoroughly
and then soak them. Take a little hot oil in a pan and splutter curry leaves
and mustard seeds in it. Then put in the green chillies, ginger and turmeric
powder along with 5 cups of water. Add salt and give it one boil. Then
put in the rice and dal and let it boil. Now lower the flame and let it
simmer for 10 minutes. Gently stir it occasionally. When the rice is cooked,
turn off the flame and garnish with grated coconut and lemon juice.
