![]() TOMATO RASAM INGREDIENTS: 1-2 medium sized tomatoes
METHOD: Wash and puree the tomatoes. Measure it in a cup and add double the quantity of water. Put this together in a vessel and add crushed garlic and salt. Put it to boil and add rasam powder, curry leaves and coriander leaves. For the seasoning (tadka)- heat a little oil in a ladle and splutter the mustard seeds and a few curry leaves in it. Pour this over the boiling rasam. Leave it to simmer for about 15-20 minutes. Serve hot with rice or simply enjoy it as a soup.
