ITALIAN STEW 
 Non-vegetarian


INGREDIENTS:

200 gms boneless mutton
1 carrot (cut into small rounds)
2 capsicum (diced)
½  cup Cauliflower (cut into small pieces)
1 large potato (cut into small pieces)
1 tsp cumin seeds
1 tsp sugar
pepper 
6 cloves
3 small cardamoms
2½ cups water 
2 tbsp maida 
½ tsp garlic 
a few spring onions
turnip 
salt(as required)
 

METHOD:

Roll mutton pieces in maida after putting salt and pepper on them.  Put a little oil in a pressure cooker and fry mutton on slow fire so that it becomes tender.  Also add vegetables, spices and salt.  Put water and pressure-cook for 3-4 minutes after the first whistle.  Put 2 tbsp tomato sauce vinegar and onions, leave it to simmer for few minutes, and then put a little bit of soya sauce (2 or 3 drops) and lightly mash the vegetables to make stew. 

SERVES: 4
