MONGER DAL Recipe | Main Course Recipe by Smita Nadgir |
| INGREDIENTS | 250 gms whole moongdal (soaked overnight)
Salt to taste
1/2 tsp haldi
1 tsp coriander powder
1 tsp greenchilli paste
1 tsps oil/ghee
1/2 tsp cuminseeds
2 tsp sugar
Pinch of asafoetodia
1/2 tsp chilli powder
| METHOD | 1. Add salt and pressure cook dal in enough water till itis soft.
2. Heat oil in a frying pan, add cumin seeds, hing, haldi, coriander powder, green chilli paste, sugar and red chilli powder.
3. Pour it over dal.
4. Mix well and serve hot.
