| INGREDIENTS | Muthia aata 250 gms
Bottle gourd 500 gms
Ginger, garlic, chilli paste
Red chilli, dhania powder, garam masala- 2 tb spn.
Sugar-3-4 tb spn.
Salt as per taste
Mustard seeds
Sesame seeds
Asafetida
1 lemon
Coriander leaves
Oil 3\4 tb spn.
| METHOD | Cooking time: 45 min
Recipe for muthia
Grate bottle gourd (500 gms) , paste of ginger-garlic-green chilli, red chilli, dhania powder, salt, sugar 3-4 spn, garam masala. Add all these to 250 gms of wheat atta (muthia aata). Dough it after adding 2 tb spn. Oil. Do not add any water. Make small rolls and put them to steam for 30 min approximately. Cut the rolls to small pieces.
Tamper them with mustard seeds, sesame seeds, pinch of hing/ asafetida, 1 lemon juice. add coriander leaves to the hot muthias and can serve with green chutney.
Note: muthiya aata is readily available is thicker in composition to normal wheat aata
