| INGREDIENTS | approx. 1 cabbage, 4 carrots, lots of garlic...10 cloves, onion, green bell pepper (capsicum), corn starch, water, soy sauce, aginomoto, maida (app pupose flour) and oil for deep frying..green chillies | METHOD | Grate cabbage finely.
Grate carrots finely.
Cabbage : carrots = 1:4
say if that is 1 cabbage take 2 carrots
Mince garlic 2-3 cloves of garlic
mix them together, add soy sauce 2 table spoons, aginomoto two pinches and maida 5 tablespoons or a cup
mix it and make a dough, just taste it and if salt is less then add salt according to taste.
now make balls of this dough and deep fry them till they turn brown
now chop one big onion finely and capsicum also chop finely. Mince some garlic say 9 cloves and green chillies, say 6
now in a pan heat oil, add green chillies and garlic. cook it till it crackles and add onion and capsicum together. cook for some time
now add soy sauce say 4 table spoons and add aginomoto 3 pinches. now add deep fried balls into this and tause it taking care that they dont break.
now take 1 1/2 spoon (tea spoon) of corn-starch...(it should be corn starch and not corn flour)... and add it to quater a glass of cold water (normal water) and mix it well.
Add this to the cooked material. stir well tausing balls and taking care that they dont break. heat it till gravy is thick. Serve hot with fried rice or chowmein.
