If parents do not force to their children for study, they do not bother about their study. They are not capable to take decesion what is right and what is necessary to meet the challenge of life

Comment:
Parents should not force the child to study but should sit with child and understand why child is not ready to study. Forcing child to study will make child reduce interest in studies. Therefore, parents should never force child to study. In fact, if child is bored, parents should ask child to take some break, freshen up and then start studying again so that he does not get tired of studying.

Comment:
I agree with Ramesh, it is not good to force children to study. Children should understand the importance of studies on their own. However, parents should keep a check if the child is studying regularly or not. Not forcing the child does not mean that child should be kept away from studies. Parents should participate in child's studies and make sure that child gives due importance to studies.

Comment:
Yes it is not correct to force your child to study. However, you should make your child understand calmly and politely that studying is important. You can tell your child the importance of studying regularly. You can also tell your child that studying regularly can help him reduce the burden of studies during exams. It is necessary that parents should avoid forcing their children to study.
