I feel it depends on one's economic condition. If one is wealthy he can have 2 or may be more. If one is a a middle class or above middle class, it is ideal to have one child and transform all your savings undivided and can elevate him to a class above we are living rather than dividing the wealth among 2 or 3 and retain them at the level of their parents

I have 13 years old son. He is the only child. And we 3 are very happy. For a working women like me, it would have been very difficult to manage 2 kids in all the aspects. The school fees and other related items costs you so much. But the most important thing I feel is this, Is this the world where my child should grow? What problems he/she has to face after 10/20 years.This is more frightening for me.

Though i am working and have a very hectic work schedule still I would love to have at least 3-4 kids . I just worship kids . Watching their marvellous smile, innocent beauty , caring nature, unconditional love etc. is something I can not describe in words. Kids are I think best thing God has created in this world.
