Babies need a Change Give the baby a fresh face and a new set of arms If you have been struggling to comfort
your wailing baby in vain, you should consider handing her over to somebody
else – the other parent, a friend or a relative. Your inability to comfort
your child invariably leads you to exhibit signs of stress and fatigue.
Your baby will be quick to notice your tension and frustration and will
respond with more tears. It will be a relief for both you and the baby
if somebody else takes over. Remember that sometimes a new broom sweeps
clean.
Provide some entertainment Some babies have a low threshold
for boredom. They are not content to sit and watch the world go by. They
want to be a part of things and you have to ensure that they are kept busy.
You have to make the effort to include them in your daily routine. This
may involve carrying them around and explaining to them what you are up
to, finding toys and other objects in the environment to keep them amused.
Give the baby some fresh air Taking your baby outdoors will often dramatically improve her mood. Taking her for a drive or a walk in her baby carrier or push-chair should produce results. Even if it is dark out, streetlights and the sight and sound of traffic should distract the baby. To add your views on this article or read others comments Click Here
