A lot of excellent international movies have released or are releasing soon, and we decided to shortlist a few of them. Most of the movies we picked had already started doing extremely well at box offices around the globe. Others are highly anticipated sequels of hit movies. So go ahead and pick one or just watch all of them!

Terminator: Salvation

The fourth offering from the Terminator series, this movie has already earned a reputation for having the best computer graphics of the series. John Connor is played by Christian Bale of the Dark Knight fame in Terminator: Salvation. The story is about the final war between the robots and mankind, as Connor faces off against Skynet once again. Though not very popular with the critics, Terminator: Salvation managed to please the audience with its action sequences, speedy story telling and remarkable graphics.

Transformers 2: Revenge of the Fallen

The sequel to the extremely popular Transformers movie, this flick has already started to rake in millions of dollars around the globe. The story continues with Megatron being stolen from the U.S. military base by Scorpinox, for revival. Megatron thus returns to face off against Optimus Prime and his armies. A lot of new characters have been introduced in the movie. The movie also brings back on-screen couple Shia LaBeouf and Megan Fox. Transformers 2 is slated to be the biggest box office hit of the season. A definite watch.

Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince

Yet another sequel! The hype surrounding the sixth film from the Harry Potter series shows us how popular Harry still is with people around the world. The movie is based on the book of the same name and is about Harry's sixth year at Hogwarts. The well-loved characters of the series return and this time the story takes a romantic direction with Harry dating Ginny and Ron seeing Lavender. The plot in the movie is slightly different from the book, with a few changes being made to surprise the movie audiences. For Harry Potter lovers, this must definitely be the most anticipated movie of the year!

Ice Age 3: Dawn of the Dinosaurs

The third installment of the Ice Age franchise is due for release anytime next month. As the title suggests, the plot revolves around Sid stealing dinosaur eggs and gets into trouble as always. His friends must then save him and bring him back in one piece. The first two parts of the animated series was loved by audiences world-wide and this time they introduce new characters to join Manny, Sid and Diego on their epic adventures. Scrat continues to chase his acorn through the movie but this time they found him company in the form of Scratte, a female squirrel. Do not miss Ice Age 3.
