Officially
launched on May 14, the slick IndiaParenting.com is the first site on the
Net which focuses on bringing up fathers and mothers. With over 1,800 pages
of content, the site is a colorful and lively informative guide covering
all aspects of parenthood. Beginning from pregnancy, it covers childbirth,
newborn care, developmental milestones, common childhood ailments, diets,
health issues of women past their prime, a section on fertility, interactive
consultation with a panel of doctors, responsibilities of fatherhood and
more. Other sections deal with nursery rhymes in various Indian languages
with select audio clips, Indian prayers, folk tales and mythology. On the
lighter side, there are party games, children's film reviews, baby names,
horoscopes and a baby photo contest section.
